The PGA Tour has announced that FedEx will return as the title sponsor of the FedEx Cup, which is the premier golf tournament in North America. This marks a significant change for EA Sports and their decision to move away from traditional sports sponsorships.
The FedExCup is returning to EA Sports PGA Tour. This will be the first time that the tournament has been in the game since 2007.
All three FedExCup Playoffs tournaments, as well as the host courses, will be included in the forthcoming EA Sports PGA Tour game.
The FedExCup Playoffs will be included into career mode, as well as a few challenges. This is in addition to the increased authenticity of PGA Tour golfers as a result of real-life golf data being incorporated into the game’s development.
The PGA TOUR’s Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President, Licensing and Merchandising, Len Brown, says:

Abraham Ancer, who won the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational in early August for the first time on the PGA TOUR, added:
